Everyday Care: A Cleaning & Storage Checklist

A practical checklist for reading care instructions, cleaning each component, drying, charging and storing intimacy products with the exact model in mind.

Amormyra Journal · Everyday care

A care routine starts with the instructions supplied with your exact product. Use this checklist to find the cleaning, charging and storage details you need, then keep them nearby for next time.

1. Keep the model instructions close

Save the manual and product name together. Check the materials, removable parts, water-use limits, cleaning method, compatible care products and power requirements. If a detail is missing, ask about that exact model before choosing a method.

2. Check each part separately

The device, remote and charging accessories may have different care requirements. Do not assume that a water-use claim for the main device also applies to everything in the box.

Why the exact instructions matter

Maude’s Vibe care information describes a water-resistant device that must not be fully submerged. The We-Vibe Bond manual gives separate cleaning instructions for the device and its remote, including no immersion for the remote. These are examples of model-specific guidance.

3. Use the stated cleaning method

Follow the manual’s cleaning schedule and instructions for each component. Use only the cleaner or soap type and water exposure it permits. Keep powered accessories disconnected during cleaning, and do not improvise an unlisted treatment.

4. Dry before charging or storing

Follow the specified drying steps and check the charging area before connecting power. Maude’s Vibe charging instructions, for example, require complete drying and the supplied cable. Confirm the cable, adapter rating and charging guidance for your own item.

5. Give storage a place

Choose the pouch, case or storage method recommended for the model. Keep clean, dry items away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Check whether separate storage is required to avoid contact between materials; Maude includes this in its Vibe storage guidance.

Keep the matching cable and instructions easy to identify. For lubricants and care products, retain the label and check its storage and expiry directions.

6. Inspect before the next use

Look over the surface, seams, cable and accessories. If a part is cracked, damaged or behaving unusually, stop using it and contact the manufacturer or seller. The Bond manual’s safety section also advises checking components and avoiding use when damaged.
